Classes

Functional:

A FUNctional high-intensity workout with a purpose! It can range from beginners to a high- intensity workout depending on how much weight you want to lift. All exercises can be amended to suit things like capability and injuries. The class will start with a warm-up, incorporate lifts and a Weights and/or Cardio circuit, and end with doing some abs. These exercises help develop movements performed in daily activities, leaving you feeling amazing and capable of conquering any activity. This 45-minute class will run in the Functional Training Zone on the Gym Floor. Please bring a towel and water bottle for every workout.

Boxing:

Boxing is a 45-minute class where you are paired with a partner using both pads and gloves. Our boxing classes are designed to improve your overall fitness, strength, endurance, balance and coordination through a range of high-intensity boxing drills. The benefits of boxing also improve your mental health & wellbeing through resilience and confidence-building strategies.

Pilates:

Pilates is a body conditioning routine that can help flexibility, muscle strength, and endurance in the legs, abdominals, arms, hips and back. While developing a strong core and improving coordination and balance. Please bring an exercise (or yoga) mat, towel, and water!

Flow Yoga:

Link breath with dynamic movement to lubricant the joints, stretch and strengthen muscles and calm the nervous system. Leave feeling energised, clear and calm. Please bring your own exercise (or yoga) mat, towel, and water!

Yin Yoga:

A slow and relaxing style of yoga. Focusing on gentle long holds to open the body and relax the mind. Leave feeling refreshed and limber. Please bring your own exercise (or yoga) mat, towel, and water!

Over 50’s:

Over 50s is a class suitable for all fitness levels. A class that focuses on building overall strength and improving your fitness levels through various exercise regimes. Work at your own pace and still work towards your health and fitness goals in a safe and comfortable environment.

HIIT:

HIIT is a type of interval training exercise. It incorporates several rounds that alternate between several minutes of high-intensity movements to significantly increase the heart rate to at least 80% of one's maximum heart rate, followed by short periods of lower- intensity movements.

Resilient, brutally honest, determined and strong are just some of the ways to describe her. Mother to a beautiful 2-year-old, Katie is passionate about fitness and the industry as she believes it’s a way to turn your mental, emotional, and physical health around. She loves helping people see potential in themselves to lead a better lifestyle. A fun fact that may surprise you, is that Katie is a powerlifting champion, and won her first competition when she was unknowingly two weeks pregnant!

Her goals this year are to find a better work/life balance to show up for her daughter, as well as continue to work on her physical strength and compete in further powerlifting competitions. Her least favourite workout is the pesky air bikes. Be careful around her, her superpower of choice is to read clients’ minds, to make sure they’re not cursing her out!

Elaina is our superstar trainer who is empathetic, optimistic and disciplined. Her ideal Sunday involves a gym session, a walk and brunch with a friend, before heading out to waterski before planning for the weekend ahead. A fun fact about Elaina you may not know is she is an Elite Barefoot Waterskier! She is currently ranked No.2 in the World for Under 23 Women, and No.5 in the World for Open Women!

She is passionate about helping individuals live the lifestyles they desire, through finding a balance within all aspects of life, such as daily movement, nutrition and mindfulness. Her goal is to find a good balance in all areas of her life this year, and to get proper reset and recovery and sleep. Her least favourite exercise? The bench press, as she much prefers working out her lower body.

 

When she’s not leading a Pilates sessions, Kaylene takes to Aerial silks and Lyra, mastering breathtaking tricks high above. Her perfect Sunday, is sleeping in, going on family walks and whipping up a nice home-cooked meal. Her dream superpower? To time travel.

Passionate about fitness, she’s been involved with Pilates for 15+ years. For Kaylene, it’s about sharing that positivity with others and giving back. Except for one hiccup – she’s not a fan of burpees!

Britannia has always been involved in the fitness industry and grew up very active with both of her parents being athletes. Staying active allows her to think clearly and live to her highest potential physically and emotionally.


She absolutely loves the feeling she gets after working out and describes herself as passionate and authentic. Her ideal Sunday involves going for a sunrise walk on the beach with her kelpie/dingo, followed by a cold dip! She loves to follow that with a trip to the farmers market and spending some quality time with her family.
If Britannia could have any superpower it would 100% be teleportation! She is originally from Canada and would love to be able to visit home with the snap of her fingers.


Britannia is ambitious and driven and is currently in the process of building a Retreat Centre for health and wellness events.

Fun fact about Britannia: she lived in a yurt with no electricity or running water for 2 years!

Meet Jessie, our Pilates pro at Huntlee! Fun fact: She discovered her fitness journey through a love for the Performing Arts.
On a lazy Sunday, Jessie, a mom of two adorable boys, values catching up on some well-deserved sleep. Passionate about movement as freedom, Jessie has been in the fitness game for 11 years, still thrilled to do what she loves. Her least favourites at the gym? Wall Balls and Running. Need we say more?
This year, she’s eyeing a ‘Barre’ certification to add to her fitness toolkit.
